• Additional RAM can be purchased at $5 per month per 3 megs.
• Additional HD space can be purchased at $1 per month per 10 megs.

• Both services can take advantage of automated MUSH/MUX initial generation. Setting up a brand new TinyMUSH or TinyMUX is as easy as executing a single command. No compiling necessary, no need to create a seed database. Just login, and execute the setup command, edit your config files to your taste, and run Startmush/Startmux.
• If you use the automated setup as described, none of the MUSH/MUX executables will actually reside in your account, which means they won't eat into your disk space quota.
• You also have the option to compile your own server, if desired.
• We accept PayPal payments!

• Dedicated 1.5 Gbps DSL connection
• Server, hub, DSL router all hooked up to a quality UPS system

Currently, there's no formal backup routine, but if you'd like a file (individual file, tar file, etc) backed up nightly, we can arrange for that. In the very near future (March/April of 2004), the MUSH accounts will be served from a RAID-5 file server, which will protect the games from catastrophic disk failure.

In the past I've been forced to put my MUSH's on some spectacularly flakey hosting services -- and I've been burned more than once, so let me say this:

I've been involved in the MUSH community since 1992, have a network of 8 machines that are all in my house, which I own. I state this simply so that you'll understand that this MUSH hosting service isn't being set up inconspicuously on some college campus, or on some external corporate machines, or out of a rickety apartment complex from which we could move at any time. I own all the materials involved and have a vested interest in making sure my over 17 years of internet workings continue to grow and flourish. In other words, we're not going to suddenly vaporize. : )

I'm not doing this to make a bunch of money, just recover some of the cost of the DSL line -- as such, the host machine will not be overloaded with games. Six to ten, at most, depending on size and activity.
